It doesn't get any better than this!
One highlight of this summer was kayaking around Diablo Lake. I was amazed by the color of the glacial water as I paddled around this pristine, quiet lake in the midst of the North Cascade Mountain Range. My inflatable kayak allows me to pull out my legs, so I can really kick-back relax and take in the scenery.
Aspen Grove, Park City
20X24 Acrylic, Casein and Pastel on canvas
I enjoy how these tall spindly trees grow, seeking the light. Aspen are a prolific tree in the mountains around Park City Utah and I made many photographs of them while hiking high up the bare slopes of the ski resort in early Spring.
